The Anniversary

The main character is celebrating her wedding anniversary. Glasses are filled with wine, and festive plates are filled with stew. This is the first anniversary without a loved one - the joint dinner was prevented by the war. A woman preserves the memory of her husband in memories - the only precious things that have survived.
